Exploring the world of print in this project, I took the idea of the flame of a candle symbolizing hope, roots symbolizing stability and the jar symbolizing security.

I chose these concepts in response to family life and personal experiences. It was important for me to allow the viewer to understand the composition of these three elements in the final prints. Maybe even to allow them to personally respond to the three elements when considering their own family experiences.
